Statistics makes up 1/6 of the course. Much of the first year content is consolidation and extension of your GCSE knowledge. It is really important to review your GCSE knowledge. 

However, there are a couple of topics that are not covered at GCSE and will be new to you. These are Binomial Distribution and Hypothesis Testing (both covered here in Hypothesis testing).

You need to be familiar with the Large Data Set that will be introduced in class. Any Statistics question could refer to the Large Data Set.
